Grape A Fare
The Grape A' Fare
The Grape A'Fare was held on the 4th of October, 2011.
Hobart's famous wine and cheese tatsing event that showcases many new release Tasmanian wines and artisan cheeses was successful again this year, with over 100 attendees on the night.
The Grape a'Fare is run in partnership with Cerebral Palsy Tasmania and all profits from the night went to the charity. In the 5 years this event has been running, it has raised over $32,000 for Cerebral Palsy Tasmania.
We were very happy to present some of our old supporters again this year, Bream Creek Vineyard, Cape Bernier Vineyard, Morningside Vineyard, Nocton Park, Sharmans Fine Wines, Darlington Vineyard, Milton Vineyard and Kilbowie Wines. Joining us for the first time this year were Domaine A, Richard Meyman Wines, Observatory Hill Vineyard, Panorama Vineyard and Native Point Wines.
This year's event also included Tasmania's famous Waji's Catering, plus a raffle for a bottle of rare 1993 Penfolds Grange, personally signed by the Governor General.
The Grape A' Fare was held in the Drysdale Restaurant, 59 Collins Street, Hobart from 6pm till 9pm.
The Grape A' Fare was a great learning experience for the student team, and we look forward to many more successful years of the event to come.
